Our Journey Began

10 years ago in 2014, an young man got off hungry at the Ostrów Wielkopolski train station and had nowhere to eat dinner, layover time was 3 hours and he was hungry waiting to catch his next train. That same day, he decided to open a kebab shop there. Mr. Jahirul Islam – The owner of Zahir kebab, today he has 157 branches across Poland. With this journey his younger brother Mr. Jahidul Islam has active contribution. Both of them has built a kebab empire not only in Poland, in 2022 the company has opened their 1st outlet in Lisbon, Portugal, now they have 20 outlets in Portugal. Both brothers has become an iconic entrepreneur and a role model to many new comer business persons in gastronomy. Zahir Kebab is one of the fastest growing gastronomy chains in Poland, famous for the longest signature item, 50 cm MEGA ROLLO. By the end of 2025, the number of Zahir Kebab will exceed 200 in over 70 cities in Poland and 40 outlets in Portugal. Soon they will start their operation in United Kingdom. The company employs nearly 1500 employees throughout Poland & Portugal. The company is implementing a network expansion plan, which will enable company to reach customers all over Poland. It is planned to open about 15 premises a year and to enter the offer more widely to partners who have their own point of sale network. Zahir kebab’s food products are now even available in Zabka, which has at least 9,000 manned and unmanned stores across Poland. Zahir Kebab dishes are made of 100% Polish products. Every day we deliver fresh vegetables, which we prepare for direct consumption. The success of our unique taste is our sauce prepared according to a unique recipe. The selected meat in our products is enriched with special mixtures of herbs and spices, which make the taste unique and expressive, which makes it characteristic only for our restaurants. Suppliers are long-term partners, thanks to which we maintain consistent quality. All procedures with maintaining cleanliness are carried out according to HACCP standards as well as GHP and GMP. The company is preparing for the implementation of the ISO procedure. Zahir Kebab quickly gained a reputation for its delicious, authentic kebabs made from family recipes passed down through generations. Zahir’s commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods set it apart from other establishments.The eatery’s success led to expansion, and Zahir Kebab soon became a household name internationally.
